What’s Wrong?
The next morning, after Mo Rao packed some things, she took a taxi to the hospital where Fu Ying was.
Mo Rao had just gotten out of the car when she saw Gu Hai waiting at the entrance of the hospital.
She walked over and asked, “What happened? Why is Fu Ying in the hospital again?”
Gu Hai sighed and raised his hand to look at the time.
“Miss Mo, it’s not time yet. Can you wait for a while while I tell you the situation?”
When Mo Rao saw Gu Hai’s expression, her heart sank and there was a hint of worry in her eyes.
As Gu Hai led Mo Rao to the hospital, he explained to Mo Rao about Christopher.
“Isn’t that a good thing?” Mo Rao asked in confusion.
There was a 20% chance!
Mo Rao was delighted. How could she not be happy to see Fu Ying get better?
Although the possibility was low, a miracle could happen, right?
Moreover, she believed that Fu Ying could definitely do it!
Gu Hai sighed, his eyes filled with worry.
“It’s a good thing if he can be cured, but President Fu’s rehabilitation training…” Gu Hai paused before continuing, “You will understand after seeing it personally. ”
When Mo Rao heard Gu Hai’s words, she didn’t continue asking.
After Gu Hai brought Mo Rao to an empty ward, he stayed inside for about half an hour before getting up to leave temporarily.
Ten minutes later, Gu Hai walked back.
“Miss Mo, please follow me.”
Mo Rao tensed up. She understood that what was about to happen was what Gu Hai wanted her to know.
She took a deep breath and suppressed the inexplicable sense of panic in her heart.
“Okay, lead the way.”
Under Gu Hai’s lead, Mo Rao walked past a long corridor and stopped at a corner.
She was about to ask Gu Hai when she looked up at Fu Ying in the room and was instantly speechless.
Mo Rao had never seen Fu Ying like this before.
Fu Ying looked fragile, disheveled, and pale.
The moment she saw Fu Ying, Mo Rao felt as if her heart was being held tightly by a pair of large hands, making her unable to breathe.
Her eyes suddenly welled up with tears.
She watched as Fu Ying held the railing tightly. The veins on his hands bulged, and large beads of sweat fell from his forehead and face. His eyes were bloodshot.
He staggered, his expression ugly.
Mo Rao felt suffocated. She wanted to say something, but was at a loss for words.
After a while, Mo Rao finally said, “What’s wrong with Fu Ying?”
Her voice was very hoarse.
It had only been a few weeks since they last met, but Fu Ying was already in such a miserable state.
Gu Hai looked at Mo Rao’s side profile before slowly lowering his eyes.
“This is the treatment plan Dr. Christopher prepared for President Fu,” he said calmly. “There were originally two plans. One was basic rehabilitation training, and the other one was the training President Fu is doing now.”
Mo Rao turned to look at Gu Hai. She thought that Fu Ying’s current plan was probably the reason why Gu Hai had asked her to come.
Gu Hai took a deep breath and continued, “But from now until night, other than eating, President Fu has no time to rest. Miss Mo, I invited you here to persuade President Fu not to train so hard. I’m really afraid…”
He was afraid that Fu Ying’s training would backfire and cause irreparable damage to his body.
After Mo Rao heard Gu Hai’s words, she turned to look at Fu Ying, who was training in the room.
Fu Ying’s hands kept trembling, as if he couldn’t hold the railing.
Two seconds later, Fu Ying’s hands finally couldn’t support Fu Ying’s body anymore. With a bang, Fu Ying fell to the ground heavily.
Fu Ying grunted, but he was still unwilling to give up. He struggled to stand up.
When Mo Rao, who was standing at the corner, saw this scene, she subconsciously took a few steps forward, as if she wanted to help Fu Ying up.
After regaining her senses, Mo Rao stood still and took a few steps back.
