Find a Way to Persuade Him
“Has Fu Ying been like this the entire time?” Mo Rao asked with a quivering voice.
Gu Hai nodded with a heavy expression. “President Fu has been training like this recently.”
After Mo Rao received the answer, she was silent for a few seconds before looking at Fu Ying, who had fallen to the ground.
Fu Ying’s usually neatly combed black hair stuck to his forehead and face messily. He supported himself with both hands as he tried his best to stand up.
Mo Rao couldn’t bear to watch anymore and said, “I won’t go in now. Find a chance today to tell Fu Ying I came over. I’ll think of a way to persuade him later.”
When Gu Hai heard Mo Rao’s words, his eyes lit up and he looked at Mo Rao excitedly.
“Miss Mo! Are you really willing to persuade President Fu?”
Mo Rao nodded and looked at Fu Ying deeply before turning to leave.
Fu Ying definitely didn’t want her to see him like this.
In that case, she would pretend she didn’t to see it.
At noon, after lunch, when Fu Ying was about to continue to the training room for rehabilitation, Gu Hai stopped Fu Ying.
Fu Ying frowned at Gu Hai. “Gu Hai, what do you want? Get lost!”
“President Fu, Miss Mo said that she was coming over to see you today. Look…” Gu Hai didn’t finish his sentence, but it was enough for Fu Ying.
Fu Ying looked at Gu Hai with hope in his eyes. “Are you serious? Rao Rao is really coming? To see me?!”
Gu Hai nodded to confirm Fu Ying’s question.
Fu Ying’s eyes lit up, but after he came back to his senses, his expression darkened slightly as he looked at Gu Hai.
“Did you inform Rao Rao that I was in the hospital?”
His voice and gaze suddenly became sharp. It was completely different from his happy look just now.
Even if Gu Hai felt that he had done nothing wrong, under Fu Ying’s sharp gaze, he couldn’t help but doubt himself.
“Yes, I was the one who informed Miss Mo.”
Fu Ying looked at Gu Hai. Fu Ying was clearly sitting on the bed, but Gu Hai felt that he was the one being looked down on.
“Gu Hai, you should remember what I instructed previously.”
“But President Fu, you really can’t continue like this. You…”
Suddenly, Fu Ying’s phone rang. Fu Ying’s intimidating aura was restrained and a smile appeared on his face.
This was the special ringtone he had set for Mo Rao.
Fu Ying picked up his phone as quickly as possible and answered the call.
“Hey, Rao Rao, you…”
“Where’s your ward?” Mo Rao interrupted Fu Ying and asked directly.
Fu Ying was rendered speechless by Mo Rao’s words, but he wasn’t angry and told her his ward number.
“Alright, I’ll be right there.” After Mo Rao said that, she hung up.
Fu Ying recalled Mo Rao’s voice, which he hadn’t heard for a long time, before coming back to his senses.
He looked up at Gu Hai indifferently and warned, “Forget it this time. If I find out that you disobeyed orders next time, don’t blame me for being rude!”
Gu Hai quickly nodded and promised, “President Fu, don’t worry. I won’t disobey orders next time!”
Fu Ying nodded and waved at Gu Hai.
Gu Hai nodded and left the ward.
Although Fu Ying was unwilling to let Mo Rao see him like this, since Mo Rao was already here, he didn’t want others to disturb his private time with her.
Thinking of this, Fu Ying quickly came back to his senses and tidied his clothes. He even styled his messy hair a little.
Less than ten minutes after Gu Hai left, there was a light knock on Fu Ying’s ward door.
Fu Ying sat up straight and tried to look more energetic.
“Come in.”
After the door was opened, the face that Fu Ying had been thinking about day and night appeared before his eyes.
The moment he saw Mo Rao, the corners of Fu Ying’s lips curled up, and his eyes were filled with joy.
“Rao Rao, you’re here. Please sit!”
He looked at Mo Rao lustfully. The hospital that was originally filled with the unpleasant smell of disinfectants was now filled with a sweet smell.
“I came to see you,” Mo Rao said as she sat down in the chair by Fu Ying’s bed. “I heard that your leg is being retreated?”
Fu Ying’s expression froze for a moment before he nodded under Mo Rao’s gaze.
“Yes, I’m cooperating with the treatment now.”
